PDFs and reading them
To view a document in Adobe PDF format, you may first need to download a free copy of the Adobe Acrobat reader.
Adobe reader X can convert the PDF back to a word document. Open the document in the reader and from the top page view menu select the document images with a yellow swish arrow, as illustrated in the diagram.
PDFs 'read out loud'
To select the 'Read out loud' option select 'View' from the Abobe Reader (X) menu and then at the bottom 'Read Out Loud' and then select the option 'Read This Page Only' or 'Read To End of Document'
The short cut options are shown and you can pause or stop the reading. The default is to read only the selected paragraph.
